Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Megira Mall website and services. By accessing the site, leasing a space, advertising, listing an item, or contacting a seller, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Megira Mall is a digital marketplace connecting retail shops, corporate offices, advertisers and private sellers with shoppers and clients in Rwanda. Megira Mall provides the platform; it is not a party to transactions between users and does not take a commission on sales made directly between a buyer and a shop or seller.

2. Accounts

• Shop and office owners register an account secured by a password; you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
• You may access only your own account and data. Attempting to access another tenant's account or the admin area is prohibited.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Listings & content

• You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of any content you submit (shop details, ads, auction items, photos).
• Listings are reviewed by the Megira Mall team before going live; we may reject or remove content that is misleading, unlawful, infringing, or unsafe.
• Auction items must be personal/used or new goods you are entitled to sell; prohibited or illegal items are not allowed.

4. Payments

Rent, advertising placements and featured auction listings are paid via mobile money. Fees are shown before you pay and are generally non-refundable once a placement or listing goes live, except as required by law. Direct sales between buyers and sellers are settled between those parties — Megira Mall is not responsible for them.

5. Acceptable use

• No fraud, spam, scraping, or attempts to break security or access others' data.
• No unlawful, infringing, hateful or harmful content.
• We may suspend or remove accounts or listings that violate these Terms.

6. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is". Megira Mall does not guarantee uninterrupted availability and is not liable for the conduct of users, the quality of goods, or transactions conducted directly between users. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the preceding three months.

7. Privacy

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Data Protection statement.

8. Changes & governing law

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda.
